New to 3D modelling

Discussion started by myck

Hey everyone, I'm very new to the 3D modelling and I'm looking for some beginner tools to use and get comfortable with them. Can anyone recommend a good modelling software designed for the beginner?

Hello and welcome to the 3D world. You can start with Blender, a free 3D software. Watch some tutorials and start modeling!

Hi Myck, you may want to note that you may be allowed to use top 3D modeling software such as Autodesk Maya, AutoCAD, Modo, and Solidworks for free provided you have a student license in hand. You may want to check out this article at https://mapsystemsindia.com/resources/3d-design-software-list.html, which provides you detailed information about the resources that you can use as a beginner. Secondly, you may also want to get access to free 3D models at this stage to make your learning and practice sessions more interesting. You may check out the article at http://www.proglobalbusinesssolutions.com/free-3d-models/. You will be glad to know that there are several reputed websites that are allowing users to download 3D models for free. Read through the article and do let us know in case you have queries.
