Athena Table Lamp 3D print model

Athena, is a table lamp that combines classic styles with a modern concept. Of Greek inspiration, it explores geometric volumes and refined proportions. Two opposed cones with oblique cut are joined to generate a powerful and evocative shape. The fine treatment of its surface allows a particular management of light and shadow. The large size of the diffuser guarantees a soft, wide-range lighting.

Dimensions when assembled: 205 x 205 x 230 mm. A 200x200x200 printing volume will be enough.

Don't stretch the model, it requires a specific hole diameter to fit the lamp holder.

To be completed, it just requires an E14 lamp holder and an E14 Led Bulb.

The two components, the base and the diffuser, are held together by the socket of the lamp holder.

Notes:

Model thickness is 0,8 mm, both for base and for diffuser.

For a good lighting result it is suggested to generate the wall with wall line count: 2, using a 0.4 mm nozzle and a layer height of 0.2 mm.

It is important to set the seam in only one point, so as to have a very clean surface.

The oblique cut allows to orient base and diffuser as you prefer, so there's not a real back, at least for the diffuser. The base has instead a back, and it coincides with the cable exit hole.

No support is required.

No post-printing is required.

Use a dark color for base and a light color for diffuser.
