Suzuki Katana 1100X (1983) ABOUT THE BIKE: This is a 1983 1100cc Suzuki Katana replica I built over 10 years ago, but recently updated. It's considered a classic now, but this was the hottest Super-bike of it's day and was designed by a BMW designer for Suzuki. It has a powerful 1100cc(1098 in reality) engine with 16 valves, twin swirl combustion chambers and double overhead cams. The clock has 240km per hour as the max speed. It is also a big bike with a gross weight of 467kg!
ABOUT THE MODEL: All major aspects work, including the chain, engine, swing-arm, clocks and steering column. The colors are the same red and silver as the 1983 original motorcycle which I currently own. The engine is also modeled from the real thing.
Having re-built the real thing three times, I consider it to be fairly accurate throughout. I have supplied it in 3ds Max and 3ds format and the shocks and steering are rigged.
Enjoy!
