The Monaco Version 1988This is an original replica of Ayrton Senna's helmet from 1988.

Ayrton Senna used this helmet during his first championship season for McLaren Honda in 1988. The distinctive design with the yellow background and the green and blue stripes remained unaltered for the rest of his career. Although in the beginning of his career, Senna occasionally replaced the blue stripe with a black one. And during the late 80's the green stripe varied from lighter shades to a darker green. The cushioning in this version comes in grey, but later appeared in green and blue, too.
