Historical description of the coin:

This is an Australian 20 Cent coin from 1975.The obverse (right side) features a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II facing right, wearing a crown. The inscription around the edge reads ELIZABETH II AUSTRALIA 1975, indicating the monarch, country, and year of issue.The reverse (left side) displays the denomination 20 prominently in the center, against a stylized background depicting a platypus. The platypus is one of Australia's unique native animals and has been featured on the Australian 20 cent coin since its introduction with decimal currency in 1966.The coin is made of cupro-nickel (75% copper, 25% nickel) and has remained in circulation in Australia since its introduction.
