Description

Dandelion is created with 3DsMax and prepared for rendering with V-Ray.

The Dandelion File includes 45 realistic Models in 1 file, from 3 stages of growth (A,B,C). Each with 1,2 and 3 stems and 5 slight variants of those. These Editable Meshes have been scattered on the Ground Plane and ready to be used as is or made into a proxy.

There are of 3 Stages of Blossom: Variant A: Earlier Dandelion, Petals Slightly closed Variant B: Dandelion in Blossom, Fully Open Variant C: Dandelion With Needles

All Variants have version of 1, 2 or 3 Stems in the origin and 5 variants which are Slightly different. For example a Fully Open Dandelion with 2 Stems is named: Dandelion B 2-001, Dandelion A 2-002, etc, etc

The models have been materialized with V-Ray Materials (materials and bitmaps are included). All Petals and Leaves make use of a V-Ray 2-Side Material and 18 High Res Textures are to be found in the bitmaps folder.

*Note: The Camera and Lighting Setup from the renders were for presentation purpose only and are not included. The renders came straight out of MAX with a basic V-Ray Camera and Sun setup. No Photoshop or other adjustments were done.

1 Flower head is between 20 and 25 thousand polygons. The model consist of 45 different flower models. And a flower model consisting of 2-3 stems has in total 50.000 till 100.000 polygons.
