Starship Command Center PBR High Poly 2

Starship Command Center PBR High Poly 2 3D model

Description

A high polygon count 3D model of a command deck of a small/medium size starship. It has two versions of the front and is designed to have some modularity to allow for modification by the end user. It has been exported to a variety of file formats.

This model uses PBR metal/roughness textures created in Substance Painter 2. Substance files are included as supplemental files in case you want to change the textures to suit your needs.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to the size of some of the files (particularly the .spp Substance Painter files), users with slower internet connections may experience lengthy download times with some of the files in this product.

All preview renders rendered in Blender Cycles 2.78a, with post processing nodes (node system included in .blend version).

Revision 5/1/17: Some unnecessary and misplaced pieces of geometry (bolts on the aft bulkhead) deleted. Revision 2/23/23: Adjustments made to scene to update to Blender 3.3.0. Scene now uses new GUI elements in Blender, and Disney shaders.

Polycounts:

Front_01 Verts: 1,692,494; Faces: 1,623,805

Front_02 Verts: 1,934,487; Faces: 1,856,067

What is Included:

--Digital 3D set, with chairs, consoles and fully modelled buttons/knobs

--Two different types of front sections. Front_01 features curved windows. Front_02 has angular windows.

--Substance Painter 2 files included, in case you want to change the textures yourself

--HDRI star map image (12500 x 7500 px)

What is NOT Included:

--Video textures that are shown on the consoles.

As usual, have fun. Hopefully it's useful to you!

Would this be compatible with blender 2.9?

Hi. Can I use it with all textures in Element 3D (After Effects) please ?

Hi. The geometry itself can be used inside of Element, yes. I'd recommend using the .obj format for that, as Element seems to prefer that format the most (at least in my experience). Please note, however, that this scene was never built with Element 3D as an intended final software solution. It will take a little bit of work to make it work inside Element. Element 3D has some issues with Substance Painter, which is where the textures are made for this model. E3D does have a Physical based shader you can use, and I suggest going that route. But the textures will probably need to be adjusted to use them with. To sum up: the geometry will work without many issues. The lighting is unlikely to survive so you'll need to add it in in E3D and the texture maps will need some work and re-exporting from Substance. Dan
