Fireplace (from the Latin. caminus — open hearth) — a kind of furnace-heat in which the heat generation of primary energy (chemical energy) takes place directly in the zone of the technological process (ITP) which is a mixed area, generating heat (HRT) and with an open firebox in the furnace, which limits the heating of the surrounding space by convection and conduction and gives the predominant potential radiant heat transfer within certain wavelength ranges.
