Ferrari 250 GTO - 3527GT - Complete 3D model

Description

NOTE: This complete version includes detailed engine, boot and chassis.

DESCRIPTION: This is a very detailed 3d model of the 1962 Ferrari 250 GTO serial number 3527GT.

HISTORY: After a brief sojourn in Austria, chassis 3527GT was acquired by Lucien Bianchi from the factory in the summer of 1962. He placed seventh in the Tour de France, despite hitting a milk truck and later in the year won the Angolan Grand Prix outright. It was then sold to a Swiss privateer racer, who successfully campaigned it in minor events. In 1965, chassis 3527GT was modified by coach-builder Graber for road use by adding a more luxurious interior, front bumperettes and VW Transporter tail lights. Suitably registered '6 GTO' during the 1970s, it was owned for many years by Stephen Pilkington, who had the Graber modifications removed. He sold the car to a fellow British collector in 2005. The car is a 250 GTO Serie I chassis. It is fitted with a 250 Colombo engine producing 300bhp.
