A Blender Geometry Node tool for procedurally generated city walls.
WORKS ONLY FOR SHARP CORNERS AND STRAIGHT WALLS.(Support for curved shapes may be added in a future update.)
The models generated are ready to export in every format! Follow the simple instructions in export_guide.pdf.
The product includes a Blender project with:
A collection of resources essential for procedural generation
A collection with a Bézier curve already set up
A collection of examples
How to use:Append the collections to your project, making sure you always include the RESOURCES collection. The Geometry Node only works with Bézier curves that have their handle type set to Vector (select nodes > press V > Vector).
Geometry density:
With mud wall: approx. 1,300 tris/m
Without mud wall: approx. 50 tris/m
This can be considered low-poly enough for real-time rendering. By downscaling the textures, it's also game-ready.
Enjoy! Feel free to ask any questions about the functionalities.
The model is estrapolated from a real photogrammetry scan of Ping Yao city walls in China.
