Model for 3D printing: Adapter to use any common 24mm watchbands together with the Sony Smartwatch 3 (SWR50). The adapter works similar to the SWR510C (which is hard to source).

How would this work with the side button? Is it still usable?

Hi, in theory it should. The version I printed had the pin you see in the design a bit off the side to the button you need to hit on the watch.
Depending on the material it might be hard to bend the outside of the adapter so the pin gets pressed.
On the other hand I don't really use the side button of the watch. I always take the watch out of the adapter for charging (makes it easier to open the cover for the micro-usb port), then just turn it on (press the button) with my nail before putting the watch back into the adapter.
