Parametric Printable DIY Monome Case

Parametric Printable DIY Monome Case Free 3D print model

Description

Summary

A printable case for a DIY monome project I'm working on.

Instructions

Download the .scad file, adjust all the numbers to fit the number of rows and columns you want, and the hardware you have. Export all 4 .stl files. Put the cord throught the slot in the middle, then glue the plug in to trap the cord. Putting a loose knot or a blob of sugru on the cord behind the plug will make sure it can't be pulled out of the arduino. Then install the electronics underneath the top, and bolt the whole thing together using your chosen hardware.

NOTE: The file is currently set up for M3x25 screws, so that's how you'll find the .scad file set up. The STL's were all re-generated with this size in mind. At current settings it's just barely printable on a Rep2.

I haven't printed it yet, so let me know if it works for you!

Demo.stl is useless, and is just here for a pretty render.

I design things on my own time, just for fun. But if you feel inclined to send me some Bitcoin it would totally make my day:
