This is a 3D scanned wooden elephant. It has been scanned with an Artec MH 3D scanner, after scanning the crack in the ear and all the scuffs were fixed.
The smaller elephant in the picture was printed in black ABS and treated with acetone for a smoother surface. Copper, gold and flat black paint give it about the same color as the original.
I also added an STL with support beams added with the wonderful software from B9Creator (http://b9creator.com) but haven't tested it yet.
InstructionsAfter scanning the elephant the STL file was cleaned up because the original object was damaged.
One of the files was resized to about 120 mm in height (Elephant Statue Small.stl) for smaller 3D printers.
Elephant Statue Support.stl has support beams added by B9Creator software (http://b9creator.com).
