Description

Started this yesterday and finished texturing etc today.

The model has been sculpted in ZBrush, remeshed from 33k polygons to 15k in ZBrush, textured in Substance Painter 2 and rendered in Marmoset Toolbag 3, Substance Painter 2 and Arion. The mesh is made so it can work smoothly in games for example. Now about this model.

The model contains 3 texture sets:

texture set 1:

  • the custom texture set with glowing effects (emission), various heights, roughness, metalness etc

texture set 2:

  • the traditional texture set where Mewtwo looks ... exactly like Mewtwo (except the spikes on the back tail and the tail size), but overall with less effects

texture set 3:

  • the 3D-COAT dark grey textures. contains a normal map of a higher scaled 500k polygon model, for sharper edges.

UPDATE

I've added a .blend file of the model with a custom skeleton and rig. Please note that it is just a basic rig (and also my first one), so do not expect this to be perfect (keep in mind that this is a free model).

What has changed from 1.0.0 rig to 1.1.0 is that you can now control the fingers and toes seperatly and more intuitive.

hint: use the slider bones for rough (and also fine) movement control and use the other bones rarely and only for special adjustments.

Also the 1.1.0 rig does not contain a whole_body bone, but you can add one easily by yourself. Also I was trying to add eye bones but it only worked partly, so this isnt inclueded.

Its pretty intuitive to pose the model at the moment though, render image took 2 minutes to set up if not even less ^^

Overall the topology should be fine for using the model properly, I didn't made a mouth though because it didn't fit the pokemon. You can use this model for whatever you want, just make sure to credit me properly (if possible). For more check the "!ReadME.txt" file in the ZIP.

Also sorry for the bad render quality at some points, I didn't want to wait hours until substance painter was finished with them and at some point it got worse rather than sharper :x

Hope you like this model, check out my cgtrader account for more free models! ^^

Cheers =3
