A 3D, rigged character model of the Hand of the King from the roguelike game Dead Cells.
The camera in place is set to perspective for poses, etc., and can be set to orthographic for 2D animation. The resolution’s percentage is set lower to pixelate the final render. There is also a node setup in the composition editor for pixelation, but they are disabled by default. If enabled, the resolution must be set to 100% so the nodes may pixelate the render instead of the resolution. The materials have a default cartoon shader, which amplifies the final pixel render.
The custom bones are terrible in my opinion, and I highly recommend using your own if you can.
If the file is unwieldy or not intuitive, feel free to contact me and I can assist/make changes. As a beginner Blender/CGTrader user, I'd appreciate any input regarding the model/presentation. If there are any issues with the file, please let me know and I will try and fix it as soon as possible. It is also noteworthy that I cannot confirm the integrity of the FBX and glTF files, as they are exports from Blender (I'm not sure how they may have come out). If there are issues please contact me.
There’s also a sun light setup that can be changed as you see fit.
