DESCRIPTION

The Actis Eta-2 Jedi Interceptor is a fighter model specially designed to be piloted by a Jedi. It has no deflector screen, consumes a lot of space and energy, and relies solely on the pilot's superhuman reflexes to avoid fire in space battles. It must dock with a hyperdrive ring to travel in hyperspace. This type of aircraft was piloted by Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker during the Battle of Coruscant. The design features elements that would be reused on Empire and Rebel ships a few years later, such as the external astromech droid slot (as on an X-wing) and the honeycomb front canopy (as on a Tie).

The model on offer is highly detailed, measuring around 260 mm in diameter with the hyperdrive ring. The fighter and ring separate, and the fighter's maneuvering fins are deployable. It comes with a stand for display. As usual with my models, if you print the parts with the right color filament, or paint them before assembly, you'll get a nice result without being a skilled painter. The model is supplied with instructions detailing the quantities and colors for each part, and the assembly phases.

The make shown in the photos was printed with silver, gold, black, white, red and blue filament. I printed it with a BambuLab P1P printer, in 0.12 mm layers.I'm at your disposal for support if needed. Happy printing to all.
