Soldier inspired sword from the Final Fantasy VII 3D print model

Soldier inspired sword from the Final Fantasy VII video game.

It can be printed in PLA plastic in 4 simple pieces; the fully assembled blade measures a length of 48 inches. This model is keyed to fit a 3/8 inch by 3 foot dowel rod down the center of the assembly to help hold the edges true while gluing, making the sword much more sturdy and it is possible to heft and swing the blade without worrying about it falling apart. It is still a model piece and not a toy, so the plastic can be brittle when hitting other objects.
