Light Box with Tottoro - DIY 3D print model

Welcome all! Everyone probably knows a lightbox lamp consisting of several paper layers with cut out picture plots. I tried to make a similar model for printing on a 3D printer and prepared all the necessary details for you. As part of this model there is a frame, case, cover, as well as 6 layers depicting a specific plot.

How to deal with the individual elements of the Tottoro silhouette: I personally used plain office paper cut in the shape of Tottoro. This piece is glued to the back and it is already possible to glue on it individual elements of the eyes and other individual details. Alternatively, use a transparent film that is also cut out in shape. List of all details:

All of these layers are of course better printed with white plastic - this way the effect of aerial perspective and the colors of the light sources are better conveyed. Personally, I printed it with white plastic PLA.

The lightbox housing has a 12-volt A23 battery compartment, as well as screw seats. There are screw holes in the back cover. The approximate dimensions of the entire assembly are: 135x195x79 mm.
