KickBack Blaster Pistol Star Wars Inspired Vest Pistol

KickBack Blaster Pistol Star Wars Inspired Vest Pistol 3D print model

Description

THIS IS NOT A REAL GUN

This is a 3D model of an small blaster pistol, named the KickBack blaster, inspired by the Star Wars Universe. The idea for this blaster came from the Liberator blaster seen in on Din Darin in The Book of Boba Fett. It would make a great addition to a custom Mandalorian cosplay or any other type of Star Wars denizen cosplay.

The main design for this blaster came from the late 1800's Steven's Fishtail Vest Pocket Pistol, AKA KickBack. I first modeled the pistol, and then added or removed specific pieces from the design as if I had to add or remove pieces from the physical gun, similar to how the Lucasfilm prop department went about making their blasters in the original trilogy.

There are 2 versions of this blaster. V1 is more true to the original Steven's pistol, with grips that can be painted to resemble wood grain. The V2 version is more inspired by the Liberator Blaster from Book of Boba Fett and has no separate grips, but rather protruding ridges on the grips like the Liberator.

This blaster can be printed in a few different ways, which consists of...

  • V1 All Joined
  • V2 All Joined
  • Main Body V1 Joined (No screws, no grips, no barrel)
  • Main Body V2 Joined (No screws, no barrel)
  • V1 All Parts Separated
  • V2 All Parts Separated
  • Barrel Pieces all Joined (barrel, barrel shroud, barrel base)

As a note, if the blaster is printed separately, the screws(unthreaded) can be replaced with real #6-32 x 3/16 inch screws. I prefer button head, but flat head screws would look great as well.

This blaster is about 166 mm in length, or 6.535 inches.
