Description

Printable 1:87 scale (h0) model of the Hbbins 306 freight car. The model comes in separated parts which all fit on a regular resin printer. Two small springs are needed to keep the NEM sockets in place as well as standard H0 wheel sets (length=24,4mm, diameter=10,4mm) and NEM-compatible couplings. To minimize the risk of small parts breaking off, it is recommended to use a proportion of flexible resin, especially with parts that are exposed to dynamic loads like the NEM shaft.

Druckbares Modell im Maßstab 1:87 (H0) der Bauart Hbbins 306. Das Modell ist in Einzelmodelle aufgeteilt, die von der Größe her alle mit einem handelsüblichen SLA-Drucker hergestellt werden können. Zusätzlich zu den druckbaren Teilen werden noch Kupplungen, Federn und Achsen (24,4x10,4) benötigt. Um das Risiko des Abbrechens von filigranen Teilen zu minimieren, wird empfohlen, einen Anteil von flexiblem Resin zu verwenden. Besonders bei Teilen, die dynamischen Beanspruchungen ausgesetzt sind (NEM-Kupplungsschacht) sollte dies getan werden.

Very nice design, with a lot of details. Look forward to 3D print it. The file set actually includes two versions, one “complete” and one divided, so you can choose depending on the maximum printing size possible for your printer. I had some questions sent to the designer, and I got a quick and polite response. Recommended!
