DESCRIPTION

Summary:

Contains four replacement elements for Ender 6:

Z-axis bracket: maintains Z-axis vibrationless

Extruder housing: lightweight replacement to make gantry lighter and reduce ringing

X-axis spring-squeeze roller plate: reduces wear on rollers, less damping on stepper motion.20mm long conical M5 screws and original rollers used.

Y-axis spring-squeeze roller plates (print two).20mm long conical M5 screws and original rollers used.

Overall, replacement reduces gantry weight by about 170 gram.

Post printing:

Clean the main contact surfaces with a file, removing any loose/hanging threading

Roller plates have no threading printed, use M5 thread cutter for a fine, precise threading.

Note that gantry may not be precisely mounted from factory, spacing material between plates and the U-pieces might be needed, or full detachment and realignment of parts, which is a riskier proposition.

For the X-axis plate, the two CoreXY band ends are a bit in the way and should be pulled back with two small zip ties. To mount the part into the big holes, use two lock nuts with the plastic ground out with a thread cutter, and screw them on REVERSED. The lock nuts will snugly fit into the two holes.

Two washers go into the Y-axis plates to offload screw stress onto the plates, do not mount without them.Use 6mm diameter springs.

For the Z-axis bracket: it will fit into the two existing holes on the back, use 20mm long flathead screws.
