This design was created to incorporate a movement detector for LED lighting so that any LED lighting installed on a 3D Printer is only activated when either the print bed is moving or movement is detected beneath.
- This design incorporates a '12V Passive Infrared Sensor' which can be bought from the following link:
The design has been made to have directional sighting for the PIR Sensor so that it is not omnidirectional but rather focussed on the print bed with the print being in two parts, one being a downwards directional sight and the other being a custom designed rail mount fitting for 2020 extrusion to be fitted at the top of the printer.
This design should suit most 3D Printer brands and LED Light modifications however the example shown was made specifically for my 'Ender 3 Max'.

Included STLs are:
PIR LED Light Sensor Directionally Mounted Downwards Sight
PIR LED Light Sensor Top Rail Mount
I'm more than happy to communicate with the buyer and help with design, wiring and other options (As you can set this up many ways - This is just the motion detecting PIR design) upon a successful purchase.
