San is a weapon with a crescent-shaped blade called 'Yue-ah' used in China. It is said that it was originally used as a farming tool, shovel, or axe. Some have spears at the bottom, and some have a crescent. It is famous as the weapon used by Sha Wujing in , and it is also called Seonjang, meaning 'monk's staff', used by monks such as Monk Lu Zhixin in .
