Robosmasher from Transformers 3D print model

Here's another pretty obscure figure from back in the good ol' retro Generation One days - the Robosmasher! Appearing in a single episode of 'The Secret of Omega Supreme", this dastardly little drone was used by Megatron to brainwashing transformers to join his Decepticon cause.

Tragically, amongst those turned by its powers were the Constructicons, follow buddies of Omega Supreme.So here it is, in all its 3d printed, cartoony and articulated goodness!

This multi-limbed bot stands on six articulated legs, and sports three front (re-programming?) probes and two spiked balls on the side arms. Depending on the desired lengths of the arms you like, the number of segments used can be varied.

As a fun little feature, the probes have been sized to fit effect parts, giving a little more cool display options.

Looking at the robosmasher from the rear, three 5mm ports are sited in his rear booster portion and these allow also for effect parts to be added on!

Imagining that the Robosmasher would probably be able to jet around like a space saucer, another effect part port has been added on the bottom side of the body too. This looks fab when flame like effect parts are used!

=== ASSEMBLY ===

Attached is a diagram showing how the various parts of the Robosmasher go together.

Most of the body parts can be assembled optionally using 5mm pegs (either cut to size or 3d printed) and the ankle joints of each leg are put together using 3mm pegs.

The arms comprise of connected ball-jointed segments and can be made to any lengths which you like. Two lengths of the arm segment have been provided, with the shorter one designed to give more bend-ability to the arm.

An arm-base piece provides the ball-connector for the assembled arms to connect to the front and side of the body.
