CyberBase Tracks Battle Trailer for Transformers Bumblebee

CyberBase Tracks Battle Trailer for Transformers Bumblebee 3D print model

Description

Saw a vintage photo of a nifty little trailer for the Volkswagen Beetle and thought it would be perfect to also exist and be a battle trailer for our little pal Bumblebee!

This quaint little design sports an curved front which follows the iconic curved shape of the beetle and hooks up in an interesting way onto its roof to allow for the vehicle to pivot around massively to increase the maneuverability!

Here's a look at it from the other side - hooked up to MP-21 Bumble right here!

The back of the trailer sports a rear window to keep it in line with being disguise-y and all that!

The top front of the trailer features a lid which can be opened to store little pieces of accessories in there.

Other smaller car bots can like WFC Cliffjumper can also be connected up to pull the trailer, either using their accessories, or using the connecting peg on its own!

And much like Prime's trailer, this opens up in halves to form a battle station or repair bay!

The trailer has also been designed to be compatible with the extended CyberBase Tracks ( https://funbiestudios.com/model-catalog#cyberbase-tracks ) system!. So by installing one of the WFC or TR connectors into the rear, it can connect to any of the CyberBase Tracks or even join up with any WFC or TR baseformers or titans!

As the trailer is a little ill-balanced with only one pair of wheels, a stand is included to allow it to be parked solo too.

A pair of exhaust pipes are attached to the underside of the trailer, and effect parts can be added here.

But, there's more than meets the eye here! As these exhausts are separate pieces, they can be removed to become plasma blasters for any bots with 5mm hands who can hold them! Pew pew pew!

=== ASSEMBLY === Here's a diagram to show how all the parts for this build go together. Being a fairly complicated build, here are couple of things to note:

  • For the large trailer Base part, there is the option of either printing it in full using Base_Whole file or printing the Base_Upper and Base_Lower parts separately and joining them using two Base_Pin parts with superglue.

+There will be a need to use some pins (shown in dark brown above) for the build - one 2mm diameter X 45mm length on for the top lid, and two 3mm diameter X 80mm ones to attach the sides of the trailer to the Base. The wheels are connected using a 3mm diameter x 65mm length rod as the axle.

  • The BumbleBee_Hitch when printed connects to MP Bumble by swiveling the top logo part a little and notching onto it.

===

Hope everyone enjoys this little addon for Bumblebee! =D
