This is a digital 3D printable model of Dream's Helm from the Netflix series The Sandman featuring a static and bendable nose. (Use rubber cord to join the bendable nose parts.)

The download contains pieces of the model ready to be 3D printed on a 200 mm print bed and files that are not cut into smaller pieces.

The helmet is fully wearable, we recommend scaling the model according to your head measurements. It is good to make it bigger and then add cushioning to the inside for a comfortable fit.All cut parts are placed on the print bed as we would print them to save you time.

SIZE

At 100% scale the model’s dimensions are approximately:

• Width 230mm
• Length 392 mm
• Height 737 mm

You can scale the model as you wish, but we can’t guarantee that the model will print well at a much smaller size.

3D PRINTING SETTINGS

We use these settings for most of our prints:

• Layer height 0.2 mm
• Infill 15%
• Supports 45°

We use a 10 mm brim for tall parts with a small base for better bed adhesion.

We try to make the models in a way that uses as little support material as possible.

Printing settings will vary greatly depending on your specific printer.

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

We recommend testing the size first and seeing if it fits your head first. It is created on an average-sized head. Use our hex pegs (included in the download) to connect the pieces.

This model is meant to be post-processed after printing. This can be gluing, sanding, painting, etc. We advise adding cushioning to the inside for a comfortable fit.

The Helmet of Dreams is a mask-like helm owned by Lord Morpheus. It serves as one of Sandman’s three symbols of power along with the sand pouch and the Dreamstone ruby. The helm serves as his sigil.
