DESCRIPTION

3D model of a Prehistoric shark Planohybodus sp. sculpted with ZBrush

_Genus of Hybodontiformes sharks that lived during the Jurassic and Cretaceous periods between 145 and 99 million years ago in what is now America and Europe. They had sharp, delicate-looking teeth, well adapted to a fish diet. Only teeth of this animal were found, but comparisons with other Hybodontiformes indicate that they had a large spine in front of each dorsal fin.
