Description

Inspired by the 1950's era and many cars from that period, this model was made based on original concept and some references from the web.

-Model contens:

  • Native .blend file with .obj and .fbx
  • ID maps folder containing ID maps for materials
  • Texture folder which contains pbr maps for each material in 7z archive
  • Other color textures folder which contains only albedo maps for each color variation shown in previews

-Model structure:

  • The model is separated into 23 objects so that it can be easily animated. All objects are parented to a single empty object.
  • Every object has its pivot point set as object's origin.
  • Object names are as follows: Car Body, Door Left, Door Right, Engine, Gauge fuel, Gauge Radio, Gauge Rpm, Gauge Speed, Gauge Temperature, Hood, Interior, Pedal Brake, Pedal Gas, Shifter, Steering Wheel, Trunk, Turn Indicator, Wheel Back Left, Wheel Back Right, Wheel Front Left, Wheel Front Right, Wiper Left, Wiper Right.

-Model mesh information:

  • Mesh structure is quads only, with possibly very few triangles in the engine compartment.
  • The whole mesh is subdividable easily, since it contains support loops for it
  • Mesh under the Exterior material has 18352 faces (quads), mesh under the Engine material has 23929 faces (quads+some tris), mesh under the Interior material has 14505 faces (quads).
  • Each part of the mesh is easily deleted if not needed, so you can reduce poly count depending on your needs.
  • Total numer of polygons is: 56 786

-Model Materials:

  • The model contains 3 pbr materials: Exterior , Interior , Engine
  • Each material contains 5 pbr texture maps (except engine material which lacks opacity map): albedo, metalness, roughness, normal, opacity
  • Every texture is of 4k resolution.

-UVW mapping:

  • Whole model is UV unwraped manually, there are no overlapping UV's.

-Model's intended use:

  • This model can be used in 3d games, VR and other pbr rendering engines. It can also be used in close-up renders because the mesh can be subdivided to further increase the details.
  • Poly and material/texture count can be controlled by removing internal homogenous parts that are not always visible (whole engine and parts of the interior).

-Important information to read before purchase:

  • If you want to retain the subdividing ability, do not remove doubles if you join all parts into one single object.
  • In most objects there are multiple separated meshes, this was done to retain sbudividing ability and low poly count.
  • The model is made in blender 2.79 but it was rendered in blender 2.8 using the eevee real-time rendering engine. The results you get may differ from the images here depending on the rendering engine you use.
