_Presented in three formats: fbx, obj, mb, spp_ Indian Motorcycle is an American brand of motorcycles originally produced from 1901 to 1953 in Springfield, Massachusetts, United States. Hendee Manufacturing Company initially produced the motorcycles, but the name was changed to the Indian Motocycle Manufacturing Company in 1923. In 1940, the company began production of the 741 army model, which was a combination of a 492 cc engine with a Sport Scout chassis. The American army preferred to buy Harley-Davidson motorcycles, so the Indian was mainly supplied under Lend-Lease to the Allies. In particular, more than 5000 units were delivered to the USSR.
