DESCRIPTION

Piled Euro Money on Euro-Palette

The Model is organized in two objects, one consisting all the piled money posed, the other mesh for the Europalette. For smooth shading, add a edge split function to the model of the piled money. The Model is done in real world scale, refering to the original sizes of the Euro banknotes and the Europalette. The outer dimensions of the piled money is around 120cm x 80cm and 35cm height. The Model was created and textured in Blender 2.93, rendering was done in Cycles.

PBR based Texturing & Material for the piled Money:The banknote values use all the same texture set and material, consisting of a diffuse map, a roughness map and a normal map (normal map is provided as openGL and directX-version) The texture set is delivered in four resolutions: 1024x1024 / 2048x2048 / 3072x3072 / 4096x4096 - in the texture folder, there are 16 maps to choose from, for PBR-rendering you will need three of them at all. In 4K resolution, the front and backside of the banknote values have a maximum resolution of at last 1190x590 px (5 Euro, the following values increases in resolution). Every texture map has a logical, consistent name.

PBR based textures for the Euro-Palette:

  • DIFFUSE - METALNESS - ROUGHNESS - NORMAL
  • The europalete-model uses one texture set, the model comes with a proper non-overlapping UVMap and refers to delivered textures.
  • Texture Sets in 2048 x 2048 (2K) / 4096 x 4096 (4K) / 6144 x 6144 (6K) - 12 texture maps at all, that you will find in the download-section in a .zip-folder
  • Every texture map has a logical, consistent name.

To keep model-files in small size, textures are not packed in the delivered file formats and have to be downloaded and assigned separately.

If the euro-money-models are needed as single model objects, or you need just a model of the Europalette, have a look at following products:

Included file formats: blend 293 (native) / blender 279 / fbx / obj / dae

The studio-setup is not part of the package. The model is not concepted for 3d-printing.

No unsupported objects
Unsupported objects:
- Lights
- Cameras
Learn more
Geometry
No N-gons
N-gons are polygons with five or more sides which might cause issues in certain processes like rendering or animation. Learn more
No faceted geometry
Faceted geometry uses flat surfaces without smoothing, which can look unrealistic on curves.
Learn more
Manifold geometry
Manifold geometry ensures all surfaces are properly connected, avoiding issues like edges shared by more than two faces.

Textures & material
PBR textures
PBR textures simulate how light interacts with materials, making the model look realistic under different lighting.
Required PBR textures:
- Base Color
- Roughness
- Metalness
- Normal

No embed textures
Embedded textures are stored inside the model file, increasing its size and sometimes causing compatibility issues.
Learn more
Square textures
Texture aspect ratio is the width-to-height ratio of a texture. Expected texture aspect ratio: 1:1
Learn more
Power of 2 texture sizes
Textures with dimensions in power of two (e.g. 512x512px, 1024x1024px) are used to optimize performance and memory usage.

Assigned materials
Materials are applied to the 3D model to allow visualize a model's surface properties and appearance.
Learn more
UVs & naming
No UV overlaps
UVs overlap when multiple points on the 3D model's surface are mapped to the same point on the UV island causing texture stretching.
Learn more
UV unwrapped model
A UV unwrapped model means its 3D surface is flattened into 2D space, allowing textures to be applied accurately.
