DESCRIPTION

16k color, height map, b/w details, normal map: repeat the tiles and create an endless landscape or rock material! You will get 4 color variations of the same landscape.

Are you looking for the perfect map to add a massive landscape and textures to your 3D sci-fi project? This gigantic and detailed map is perfect for Blender, Unreal Engine, Unity, Maya, and all other 3D programs that support height map-based 3D model creation. But if you’re in a hurry, you can simply use my ready-made 3D model and choose whether to apply the color texture or create a realistic PBR material using the available textures. With this package, you will receive a 16k terrain with the necessary texture maps to create a 16k PBR material, a simple 4k example project with Blender settings not yet applied (so you can learn the technique to create 3D terrains using a free program and suitable textures), and the 3D model exported from Blender in various formats with the albedo map applied. Is that low poly VR-Ready? Yes, you can use a simple flat plane and apply materials or displacement settings.

The planetary (or lunar) surface is completely seamless, allowing you to repeat it infinitely and create potentially infinite open worlds. A useful trick for aerial views: even though this terrain is truly enormous (16k! Probably 4k will be sufficient for your project, which is already very large, for example, for Unreal Engine. Preview images show the 4k version), for aerial views from very, very far away, I recommend mixing this landscape with other landscape elements, such as patches of other landscapes or assets large enough to break the repetitive rhythm of the square tile! Real texture size: 16384px, in PNG format. TERRAIN DEFINITION for advanced import settings: Height 2,600m | Scale 5,000m | Real Scale .305/px | Height-Scale Ratio: 00.52 (Real Scale: This is the pixel-to-meters density. Using standard settings with the 16384px image you will get 0.3 meters per pixel. If you scale it down to 1Km you will get 0,06 meters per pixel!).

The four color variants are as follows: Moon, Mars, Alien Surface, Dystopian Vegetation.

COMMERCIAL USE: Royalty free 3D model. You can sell renders and 3D prints for commercial use. You can't distribute the digital 3D model files as digital assets for creators but you can distribute an interactive app or web visualizers that includes them for interactive purpuses or just as a showcase.

VERSION 4. Thank you for your support!(human skeleton not included)

No unsupported objects
Unsupported objects:
- Lights
- Cameras
Learn more
Geometry
No N-gons
N-gons are polygons with five or more sides which might cause issues in certain processes like rendering or animation. Learn more
No faceted geometry
Faceted geometry uses flat surfaces without smoothing, which can look unrealistic on curves.
Learn more
Manifold geometry
Manifold geometry ensures all surfaces are properly connected, avoiding issues like edges shared by more than two faces.

Textures & material
PBR textures
PBR textures simulate how light interacts with materials, making the model look realistic under different lighting.
Required PBR textures:
- Base Color
- Roughness
- Metalness
- Normal

No embed textures
Embedded textures are stored inside the model file, increasing its size and sometimes causing compatibility issues.
Learn more
Square textures
Texture aspect ratio is the width-to-height ratio of a texture. Expected texture aspect ratio: 1:1
Learn more
Power of 2 texture sizes
Textures with dimensions in power of two (e.g. 512x512px, 1024x1024px) are used to optimize performance and memory usage.

Assigned materials
Materials are applied to the 3D model to allow visualize a model's surface properties and appearance.
Learn more
UVs & naming
No UV overlaps
UVs overlap when multiple points on the 3D model's surface are mapped to the same point on the UV island causing texture stretching.
Learn more
UV unwrapped model
A UV unwrapped model means its 3D surface is flattened into 2D space, allowing textures to be applied accurately.
