PBR Exposed Aggregate Concrete

PBR Exposed Aggregate Concrete Texture

Description

This production‑ready PBR material captures a fine exposed‑aggregate concrete surface with densely packed pebbles and a sand‑blasted/acid‑etched finish, ideal for sidewalks, plazas, benches, and modern architectural details needing subtle sparkle and tactile grip. The 4K seamless set balances low‑frequency tonal variation with high‑frequency pebble micro‑relief so it reads cleanly in wide shots while holding convincing texture in close‑ups and glancing light. Calibrated normal and height maps create realistic grain and shallow pits, while tuned roughness yields a natural matte cement response across Blender, V‑Ray/Corona, Unreal, and Unity.

What’s included

Maps: BaseColor (Albedo), Normal (OpenGL), Roughness, Ambient Occlusion, Height/Displacement; seamless 4096×4096 PNGs for clean tiling and flexible grading.

Scale: authored to ~1×1 m tile; aggregate density and pebble size match fine architectural concrete; adjust UVs to push toward coarser looks if needed.

Uses: sidewalks, plazas, podium slabs, site furnishings, gallery floors, VR/AR levels, and product backdrops requiring grippy, refined concrete.

Author notes

Height is subtle (≈0.5–1.5 mm); use parallax or low‑gain displacement to enhance pebble relief without over‑embossing.

BaseColor lighting‑neutral with separate AO; blend decals for expansion joints, stains, or leaf litter to break repetition on large areas.

Previews include sphere and plane renders demonstrating tiling cleanliness and micro‑aggregate retention under directional light.
