DESCRIPTION

What is the product I am selling

This asset is a small portable stand that can be used in your small/large sports project/s, as a place for spectators to stand or seat. This can be used on any sports field, or can be used within a park based sports area.

It consists of two rows of bench seating with protective barriers behind and one the side of each section. The entire stand uses a variety of metal materials from galvanized steel for the steps and row floors to traditional metals for other sections of this miniature portable stand.

This can be used in your next sporting game, or be used as part of your wider 3D project. Its best to use this on the ground level, however can be modified to be used higher up.

Why did I do this model

This stand is part of a major project I have been working on, which when completed will also be part of my CGTrader model collection. This project is (in part) inspired by the WII Tennis Stadium, with these stands, based on the ground level, where the characters stood in the original game. This project will not only include the tennis court and seating, but also indoor areas such as a food court and locker rooms downstairs.

As part of the project, I wanted to dramatically modernize and update this stadium, and with that included portable stands for those spectators seen in the game to sit/stand.

With that, I took inspiration from other similar stands seen in real life or on games and created a stand that would suit a variety of different projects.

This will be part of a larger collection of assets from this larger scale project (to be completed and uploaded sometime in 2025) with each small asset on/off during the next year or so..

Assets to watch out for in the collection include (but maybe not limited to) outdoor assets like:

  • Stand/Stadium Seating
  • Lighting Tower
  • Tennis Umpire Chair
  • Tennis Players Chair

Also will include but maybe not limited to) indoor assets like:

  • Bar Stool
  • Table/Chair collection
  • Locker Room Cabinets

Product Description

2 x Blender 4.3 + FilesProcedural Materials (modifiable) andFlat, Baked Image Materials (PNG) [Attached within zip folders]

  • FBX
  • OBJ
  • GLB (Augmented Reality)
  • STL

How the file works

Within the downloadable folder/s, I have included two different blender files. One of these files (Portable_Seating_Procedural) all the textures/materials are included, using a wide variety of procedural nodes. This will mean you can modify any of these nodes, to suit your own preferred taste/style specific to your own project needs. This Blender file will suit any level of experience as the node layout is quite simple and easy to follow.

However, for those who want the ease and comfort of downloading the file without worrying about making changes, all the textures are baked as .png files. This can be found under the Blender File (Portable_Seating_Baked_Materials). To use, correctly just download the texture ZIP file, (included within are separate material/texture folders with the names closely matching to the different objects within the blender/other file).

No unsupported objects
Unsupported objects:
- Lights
- Cameras

Geometry
No N-gons
N-gons are polygons with five or more sides which might cause issues in certain processes like rendering or animation. Learn more
No faceted geometry
Faceted geometry uses flat surfaces without smoothing, which can look unrealistic on curves.
Learn more
Manifold geometry
Manifold geometry ensures all surfaces are properly connected, avoiding issues like edges shared by more than two faces.

Textures & material
PBR textures
PBR textures simulate how light interacts with materials, making the model look realistic under different lighting.
Required PBR textures:
- Base Color
- Roughness
- Metalness
- Normal
Learn more
No embed textures
Embedded textures are stored inside the model file, increasing its size and sometimes causing compatibility issues.
Learn more
Square textures
Texture aspect ratio is the width-to-height ratio of a texture. Expected texture aspect ratio: 1:1
Learn more
Power of 2 texture sizes
Textures with dimensions in power of two (e.g. 512x512px, 1024x1024px) are used to optimize performance and memory usage.

Assigned materials
Materials are applied to the 3D model to allow visualize a model's surface properties and appearance.

UVs & naming
No UV overlaps
UVs overlap when multiple points on the 3D model's surface are mapped to the same point on the UV island causing texture stretching.
Learn more
UV unwrapped model
A UV unwrapped model means its 3D surface is flattened into 2D space, allowing textures to be applied accurately.
