Levitational Meta Material - Concept Directional ion wind.

Mass charge discharge plate combination - sharp spike and rounded off cup, creating a useful known ion jump location and direction.

by charging the top plate with the downward points (spikes) in its geometry, we can build up an equal potential maximum charge, up to right before the ion jump starts to occur, then because of the geometry (and lattice placement) of the points, we know where exactly the local charge build ups occur, and where specifically, the discharge and ion jump, towards the more rounded off geometry will occur.

we now also know because of the fixed orientation of both plates working in unison towards the same goal, levitation, to exactly what DIRECTION the ion jump will occur, namely DOWNWARD. when we repeat this geometry, e.g. make it modular, thousands of times over, maybe micro or even Nano scale structures, we repeat this useful built in function, and we overcome the silly notion of gravity, through the use of electrogravitics, thereby creating a resonance effect in each individual cavity, like a beetle wing naturally levitates because of its Nano structure, guiding a charge directionally.

we can 3d print the repeated functional geometry of both the plates, (sharp tip and rounded cup combination) and then afterwards easily dip the tips and the cups that stick out of the plates, in an electrically conducting material, like tin, making the meta material much lighter, while still being able to, or to perform even better its intended function, namely flight, or more specific: levitation effect through structural geometry.

i have modeled in 4 outer cylinders acting as insulating placeholders, these can be any type of insulators, and dont need to be placed in every square tip and cup module, but can easily be placed outside on the rim the total plates, keeping them separated a very specific length. by changing the height, or distance between the plates, the jump either occurs or not, however, we can manipulate at what charge the jump occurs.

if the plate were made to store more charge, (material and thickness etc.) a more violent downward wind can be generated, using much higher voltages.
