DESCRIPTION

The only detailed model of eye photoreceptors :). Redshift and VRay render. It consists of several types of cells:cone cells with photoreceptor membrane discs insidestick cells with photoreceptor membrane discs insideamacrine cellspigment epithelium cellsganglionic cellsbipolar cells. All they are connected between each to other. It is made so that you can tile the model. I left there helpers (planes) that you could clone all the system of cells using plane dimensions.

All models are some low with turbosmooth modifier.

There are 3 versions of the model:

  1. VRay_Photoreceptors_Old3ds Max 2018 VRay 3.6 (CPU Render)Red and Blue cells on the top.

Polys with Turbosmooth: ~19 000 000Polys without Turbosmooth: ~10 000 000It has Berconmap procedural texture in bump maps. But you can remove it and use some standard max.

  1. VRay_Photoreceptors3ds Max 2018 VRay 4.3 (GPU Render!)Shades of red colors on top cells.

Polys with Turbosmooth: ~30 000 000Polys without Turbosmooth: ~ 4 000 000

  1. RedShift_Photoreceptors3ds Max 2018 Redshift 3.2 (GPU Render)Shades of red colors on top cells.

Polys with Turbosmooth: ~30 000 000Polys without Turbosmooth: ~ 4 000 000
