Description
Name: River Redgum LowPoly
Scientific: Eucalyptus camaldulensis
This Variation: 1 of 4. This is a Low Poly model. A High Poly version is also available.
Notes: This is an iconic Australian tree and the most widespread and abundant on the continent. It is widespread throughout the continent, especially beside inland water courses, whether alongside permanent water-sources, or seasonal. It can very quickly grow to 30-45m. The tree is often extremely gnarled when it grows next to a poor or intermittent water source and is considerably straighter when it has access to constant water. It is a very popular plantation species that is grown the world over. In many countries, it has escaped into the wild, where it is a prolific invasive species. The tree has been unintentionally introduced to North America, Europe and Asia.
Included in this Package: 14 models in total
-
Standard -- 13,183 polygons, 20,461 vertices -- 29.1m tall. Green, fully mature and in good health. Useable in most scenes.
-
Thriving -- 13,710 polygons, 21,522 vertices -- 29.1m tall. Peak health.
-
Unhealthy -- 10,288 polygons, 14,769 vertices -- 29.1m tall. Relatively poor state with foliage missing or diseased.
-
Dying -- 7,314 polygons, 8,953 vertices -- 28.06m tall. Just hanging onto life and showing only unhealthy and diseased foliage.
-
Dead -- 6,210 polygons, 7,034 vertices -- 25.07m tall. Showing only bare and broken branches and dead foliage.
-
Stump -- 4,747 polygons, 5,496 vertices -- 22.86m tall. A dead plant with its trunk broken.
-
Uprooted -- 9,337 polygons, 11,167 vertices -- 16.21m tall. Dead plant fallen onto its side.
-
Ancient -- 25,732 polygons, 34,081 vertices -- 40.34m tall. Very old plant, larger and considerably gnarled.
-
Young -- 5,132 polygons, 8,423 vertices -- 21.34m tall. Smaller plant, some half way through its maturing cycle.
-
Immature -- 288 polygons, 491 vertices -- 7.18m tall. Very small and young plant.
-
Sapling -- 29 polygons, 61 vertices -- 1.22m tall. Recently sprouted, may not have any leaves.
-
Lower Poly -- 5,537 polygons, 11,827 vertices -- 29.1m tall. Fewer polys to save system resources. For mid or distant renders. Standard model included, remainder models upon request (no charge).
-
Higher Poly -- 35,674 polygons, 45,126 vertices -- 29.1m tall. More polys for greater detail. For close-up renders. Standard model included, remainder models upon request (no charge).
-
Uniform Mesh -- 5,905 polygons, 12,143 vertices -- 29.1m tall. Uniform meshing throughout (as opposed to adaptive). For easier editing. Standard model included, remainder models upon request (no charge).
Re-meshing and any reasonable modification available upon request. No charge to existing customers of the product.
The textures included are mainly 4k (4096x4096); additional texture sizes of medium 2k, small 1k, and tiny <1k textures can also be downloaded. Separated alpha maps can be download as well.
EVERYPlant has a mission ... which is to model every plant species in the world (plus some extinct, fantasy and sci-fi variations as well)! Okay, maybe not every plant, perhaps just the identifiably different species which have at least a common name!
