The Time Machine

The Time Machine 3D print model

Description

H. G. Wells' Time Machine as seen in the 1960 american science fiction film directed by George Pal.

Here's an accurate and high detailed 3d model based on the movie itself, production blueprints found on the internet and photos of current replicas of the original prop.

*** Please do not hesitate to ask any questions you may have before making the purchase. ***

Pre-supported stl's and assembly instructions included.

An inventor in Victorian England constructs a machine that enables him to travel into the distant future; once there, he discovers that mankind's descendants have divided into two species, the passive, childlike, and vegetarian Eloi and the underground-dwelling Morlocks, who feed on the Eloi.

George Pal, who had made the first film version of Wells' The War of the Worlds (1953), always intended to make a sequel to The Time Machine, but he died before it could be produced; the end of Time Machine: The Journey Back functions as a sequel of sorts.

Please, if you like the product, rate it. Thank you in advance.

Update (12/22/2021): jneps (Thank you, Jeff!) suggested a version of the big rear dish with smooth surface to facilitate the application of decals. I included it as an option in a separate file.

All in all an nice to build model. Some of the pre-supportet parts should be supported by myself, but at last everything fits well together. Great job. I think I will make an second one for myself, maybe at 125%. This one was an gift to a friend.

Very detailed and beautiful model. Was very pleased with the overall project (which I gifted to my neighbor for Christmas) who was also very pleased. Very fine detailing and The3DModelMaker provides Multiple files, supported and raw as well as pictured assembly instructions. I used an Anycubic Photon Mono X to print and I ran into a few minor compatibility issues that were easily fixed by redoing my own supports on a couple items. To reduce the common brittle nature of resin I used a Siriya Tech Fast ABS like resin mixed with Tenacious 85/15. This gave the smaller pieces a little elasticity and durability which was vital to completing the build. One suggestion that I could offer perhaps to really make this STL stand out, is some support peg and slots to increase durability and assist in alignment of parts. Lastly the seller was very responsive and helpful. I have my eye on another of his STLs and I look forward to seeing what else he makes!

Wow! What a fantastically acurate model of the original 1960 The Time Machine model. I have been dreaming about owning one of these for decades. Actually too complicated to make from found objects, this is the perfect "fix' for anyone who loves the movie and this iconic prop. 5 Stars!!!
