An armored personnel carrier (armored personnel carrier, APC) is an armored transport and combat vehicle (transporter) for transporting personnel (shooters and the like) of motorized infantry (motorized infantry, amphibious, and so on) units and their materiel to the place of combat mission and evacuation of the wounded and wounded from the battlefield. If the enemy does not have anti-tank weapons, the armored personnel carrier can support shooters (infantry, MP, airborne) with on-board weapons fire.
