In the 1930s, interesting, innovative ideas were enough in almost all areas of science and technology. One of these was the design of the BAD-2 armored car, or rather, the “armored-car-water-car”, developed by the ECO OGPU Air Defense together with the Design Bureau of the Izhora Plant under the leadership of N.Ya. Obukhov in 1932. And if we add to this that the dietary supplement-2, like the dietary supplement-1 was nothing more than a combat auto-tractor ... _ _BAA-2 had a very characteristic appearance - the body of an armored car with a pointed nose and its sharp-pointed contours resembled a boat rather than an armored car. In the frontal sheet, to the right of the driver, the DT machine gun was located in a ball mount, the rest of the weapons were located in two towers, installed along the axis of the hull in two tiers. _ In the front conical tower (behind the control compartment) was located a 37-mm tank gun B-3 (5K). The second tower (cylindrical) was mounted lower on the ledge of the hull and was armed DT machine gun with a sector of 270 degrees of fire._
