Description

Military Crate 01 for Unreal Engine 4. This asset is optimised and hand tweaked. The FBX file ready to drag and drop to Unreal Engine 4.

This model uses PBR Metal-Roughness texturing style in Unreal Engine 4 style.

Texture resolution 2048x2048. Albedo, Roughness, Tangent Space Normal, AO, and Metalness maps are included. (5 x .png). Tangent Space Normals were baked from high poly using XNormal using Mikk tspace.

The model is in correct, real world scale, the FBX import in right size to the engine, no scaling necessary.

Clean non-overlapping UVs. Mirrored UVs to save texture space. Lightmap UVs are included in channel 1 (and 2) and will render without artefacts with 128x128 px (and in some cases 64x64).

Clean mesh with no co-planar faces or isolated vertices. Mesh normals are set properly using smoothing groups in Max. No smoothing errors! OBJ and FBX file have also correct mesh normals to use in other applications.

Please note that applications using other than Mikk tangent base might show shading errors.

Previews were rendered using Marmoset Toolbag 2, and Unreal Engine 4.
