Description

A sledgehammer ! Be ready to demolish walls and put some pillars in the dirt. But, in my opinion, it's much better when used to bash an enemy's head in video games ! The model is made so that it has been used a lot, you can see the wood starts to become darker with time, and the head of the sledgehammer as a lot of impacts, the paint is scratched and the metal parts are worn.

It is a sudbivision-ready asset, meaning you can add an unlimited number of subdivision without destroying the model (but you might break your computer), with an increasing level of detail if you prefer to have a closer look of the model. Above, you can see multiple wireframe views, respectively without sudbivision, with a level 1 subdivision, and a level 2 subdivision. Without subdivision, the model has 1,495 faces. You can also remove some edge loops if you really want to have your model on point and as optimized as possible.

The model comes with 2 different sets of textures. One set is for the head of the model, and the other one is for the wood pole.

Each set comes with 4096x4096, 2048x2048, 1024x1024 and 512x512 textures. Diffuse, Roughness, Normal, Metallic, AO, and Height. Here are the different formats : .obj (with its .mtl file), .fbx, .stl, .3ds and .abc . You also have a .blend file with the asset, so you can have access to the node settings, and the scene used to make the renders.

The model has been created in Blender 2.79 and rendered in Cycles, textured in Substance Painter, and some post-process has been done in the Blender Compositor.

Please note : This model is not printable. Don't expect it to work, I strongly advise you not to purchase the model if you intend to print it, as it could end with unexpected results. If you have any question, recommandation, or if you're in trouble, feel free to send me a message so I can help you out. Good bashing!
