Description

WD3000 is a slightly futuristic bullpup semi-automatic sniper rifle that fires caseless ammunition. It's not based on any existing weapon.

This model is available both in blend (compatible with Blender 2.78) and fbx (exported from blender) formats. Only BaseColor and Normal maps are assigned to materials.

All included textures (68 in total) are compatible with PBR Metallic workflow. The textures are all in .png format, 16-bits per channel.

Model scale: 1 Unit = 1 metre. Triangle count: 5953

The model is compatible with Blender, Unity 5 and Unreal Engine 4 out of the box.

Included models and their texture sizes: 1. WD3000 sniper rifle (4096x4096) 2. Scope (2048x2048) 3. Silencer (2048x2048) 4. Magazine (2048x2048) 5. Bullet (512x512)

All of the parts mentioned above have their own texture sets.

In order to avoid unnecessary duplication and reduce download size the folder structure is set up as follows:

  • BlenderTextures - Contains Metallic, OpenGL Normal and Roughness maps that can be used with Blender Cycles PBR materials (Or any other software that needs separate Metallic and Roughness textures)
  • CamoSkins - Contains BaseColor maps for camouflage skins (UrbanCamo, DesertCamo, JungleCamo) - compatible with all PBR renderers
  • CommonForAllSkins - Contains DirectX Normal maps and Emissive maps. As the name says - compatible with all skins.
  • DefaultSkin - Contains BaseColor maps for the default non-camo skin.
  • UE4Textures - Contains textures specific to Unreal Engine 4. As recommended - AO, Roughness and Metallic are packed together. So you'll need to assign the correct channels to the correct material inputs in UE4 material editor. The channel mappings are as follows: Red - AO Green - Roughness Blue - Metallic
