I tried importing obj (.obj, .mtl) files into both Blender 2.79b, the current production version, and 2.8 Beta and don't see any textures. I also imported the .3ds file into Blender 2.79b and got no textures. In addition, the .3ds file left me with many objects positioned nowhere near where they're intended. I also tried the FBX file and found only a camera and a lamp. This happened with both the production and the beta version. Finally, I realize that you're practically giving this model away at $2 but in its current form it would need a lot of work to make it usable.
