conference hall

conference hall 3D model

Description

It is usually found in large hotels and convention centers, although many other establishments, including even hospitals [1] have one. Other spaces are sometimes converted into large conferences, such as arenas or concert halls. The planes are equipped with conference rooms. [2] Conference rooms may be windowless for security purposes. An example of one such room is the Pentagon, known as the Tank.

Typically, the institution provides furniture, projectors, stage lighting and a sound system. [3]

As a general rule, smoking is prohibited in conference rooms, even when other parts of the building allow smoking. [4]

Sometimes the term conference hall is used synonymously with the word conference center, as in Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall.

Some meeting rooms are equipped with booking management software depending on the needs of the company that owns them.

Typically, a medium to large office or post-secondary educational institution will have smaller meeting rooms, often called a conference room or meeting room.
