Part of my in-progress Shelf Fillers Series, this file is a collection of photorealistic and physically realistic clayworks, ceramics, and porcelain household objects. Each object is based on a 16 vertex circle. After some testing work I've determined that 16 is the magic number for convincing cylindrical ojects without subsurf trickery. 12 is usually fine, but once in a while I've found the camera gets a flat glaring obviously in the light. In terms of shelves full of low-poly objects, 16 vertex cylinders tend not to break immersion in that way. Of course these models are all subsurf ready, for scenes in which they will be up close. Also for those scenes, every item has a physically real interior as well. This is useful for fluid simulations, scenes taking place in miniature, or even if you feel like breaking them in a scene and having realistic broken pieces.
In this package you will be purchasing the entire .blend file, including ceramic materials I've made in Cycles. I do not have the software to properly test exports in other formats, and thus I can't risk releasing files with errors that I won't be able to detect. You can export the items in any format or configuration that suits your workflow. For legal clarity, the items for sale in this file are the stoneware objects and their materials. The shelf and backdrop textures are externally sourced, CC0, not of my own creation, and thus do not contribute to the sale price.
