The Bookcase Etagere

Inspired by a nineteenth century French étagère, The Bookcase Étagère is a semi-open design suitable for books or display purposes. Its modular approach allows flexibility in shelving design and works in corner situations. Bookcases of different widths may be linked using interchangeable single and double feet.

Made from tubular and sheet brass by Essex engineers, each ‘stage’ of the étagère is articulated by elegant ring details and finished at the top with decorative finials. Bespoke options include custom sizing and the opportunity to use Soane’s standard woods or leathers on the shelves.
