The Game Boy is an 8-bit fourth generation handheld game console developed and manufactured by Nintendo. It was first released in Japan on April 21, 1989, in North America later the same year, and in Europe in late 1990. An estimated 118.69 million units of the Game Boy and its successor, the Game Boy Color, have been sold worldwide, making it the fourth best-selling video game console of all time. It is one of the most recognizable devices from the 1990s, becoming a cultural icon in the years following its release. The Game Boy was designed by Nintendo's chief engineer Gunpei Yokoi and its Nintendo R&D1 team. The original internal code name for the Game Boy is Dot Matrix Game.
This model is made in Blender v.3.3.7 in units of measurement - mm ! Model scale - 1:1.
The model was made by the hard surface modeling method. Created simple materials.
The model consists of 35 parts: gameboy (29 parts: main body, battery cover, glass screen lens, buttons, connectors, separately logo and etc) and cartridge (6 parts: main body, small parts and etc).
The model is not optimized for 3D printing.
The model is presented in several versions (only for the .blend extension): the base model is optimized for Cycles and separately for Eevee.
Models are further divided into two categories: without the company logo and with it. Separately, the model can be presented in two forms: OFF and ON mode ( manually adjustable by changing the materials for the display, displaying the position of the on/off switch, diode on/off, displaying the cartridge).
You can use materials to change the 4K display texture of the working display.
Rendering done in Blender Cycles. The original .blend version of the model is not triangulated.
Converted .fbx, .max, .obj files are triangulated.
And materials from Blender are transferred as is and need to be edited and adjusted anew, and some must be created anew for one or another render!
