Alien trophy with crown 3D model

This model is based on a concept for an amphibious alien species. It has a lot of lizard like elements with just hints of aquatic capabilities. I designed a robe like clothing that they’d wear. Very loose and made of a plastic or metal material that can get wet. They had a tripod contraption to help move on land effectively. I think the most intriguing part of this project was creating the materials for the skin. I decided to make it a blend of human skin with layered subsurface but then give it higher glossy values and a slightly more waxy appearance to convey waterproofing.
