Aztec and pre-Columbian buildings and monuments

Aztec and pre-Columbian buildings and monuments 3D model

Description
  • Massive multipack containing as many as 20 pre-Columbian buildings, and multiple parts for modular construction.
  • Game-ready and highly detailed.
  • A versatile package that can be used for lowpoly productions or high-quality work
  • Very cheap and economical

Tired of looking for Mesoamerican buildings that don't seem to be in Tenochtitlan or Teotihuacan? Want to resurrect Native American civilisations in the form of living, breathing and functioning urban landscapes, not run down death traps from Fallout or Tomb Raider? then, this pack is for you.

These buildings represent Aztec buildings, from both early and late periods of Aztec culture, and range from simple primitve cottages to humungous whitewashed temples worthy of Huitzilopochtli himself! Unlike other packages out there which represent Mesoamerican buildings mainly as ruins or unfinished buildings in the Mayan style, we present ours as how the Aztecs would have preferred them - of austere appearance and covered mainly with whitewash, the preferred style in northern Mexico. Be it for school or for play, this pack of handsomely crafted, lowpoly and game-ready Aztec buildings and building parts are a must-have, for any and all ages.

This pack contains:

  • 5 rural dwellings
  • 7 urban slum dwellings
  • 2 sets of tribal/primitive temples and urban structures
  • 4 palace complexes
  • 3 temples
  • 3 generic urban public buildings
  • 1 set of modular temple components (see mockup pictures)
  • 1 set of modular noble housing components

Formats supported:

  • GLB (some)
  • OBJ
  • DAE
  • FBX
  • BLEND

While this pack does contain some lowpoly items, most however are med- to high-poly in detail. The average vertex and tri counts of this project are 234k and 500k respectively.

HOW TO USE THIS PACK

Items in this package are sorted by the textures that they use, so you will never have to waste time trying to figure out which textures are used for which elements. Generally, LOD-1 items use 1024x textures while more detailed and larger items use 2048x. While most files in this pack represent at least one or more buildings, some of these however form packs of modular parts that can be used to create different buildings if so desired.

These files are:

  • aztec_gates: this contains walls and gates
  • aztec_temple: this contains the mounds, chapels and roofs for different temples, as many as 50 different temple complexes can be generated from this pack alone.
  • aztec_flats_modular: this contains parts to build a simple flat-roofed Aztec building.

Modular parts require user assembly to be used, please see the mockup pics in the preview gallery of this asset package for ideas on how to use them.

Rural and slum buildings are lowpoly items and are best used for generating scenes at LOD-1.
