DESCRIPTION

Ferrari has unveiled a new junior front-engine model called Amalfi, which is essentially a deeply modernized Ferrari Roma: the aerodynamic plumage has become more efficient, the interior is completely new, the V8 engine has been given 20 more “horses” — now it produces 640 hp.

The Ferrari Roma debuted in 2019, it first complemented and then replaced the Portofino coupe-cabriolet. Roma was offered in coupe and convertible (Roma Spider) bodies. The Roma coupe was discontinued at the end of 2024, the Roma Spider is living out its last months, and last night the Amalfi coupe premiered, it got its name in honor of the picturesque seaside town of Amalfi in the Italian province of Salerno.

In profile, the Amalfi is very similar to the Roma, but most of the exterior body panels are new. To increase downforce, the underbody and diffuser under the rear bumper have been reprofiled, and the edge of the rear is now covered by an active spoiler, generating up to 110 kg of downforce at a speed of 250 km/h. In addition, air supply to the brakes and engine has been improved.
